Workshops & Masterclasses
In my workshops I blend the latest research with a strong understanding of what resonates in a professional environment and with busy working lives. I tailor each session to your specific needs and target outcomes, adapting based on group size and duration.

In the sessions, I share evidence-based insights on the topic then we will look at what that means in your specific context. By incorporating a mix of presentation and practical exercises, participants will gain understanding of the topic and accessible ways to apply their learning into action.

Masterclasses cover similar topics to workshops and follow the same research-driven ethos. They are more presentation based and less interactive so suitable for shorter sessions.
Example workshop and masterclass topics
Example masterclass and workshop topics are provided below and if there is a specific area of interest to you or your team that is not listed, please don’t hesitate to contact me. The sessions are beneficial at an individual level because of the learning and insights they provide. They are also helpful at a team and organisational level to build a common understanding and shared vocabulary on the topic, enabling participants to develop informal support networks for each other.

Example topics:

Managing Impostor Syndrome
Impostor syndrome refers to feeling like you are faking it at work and will be found out. It is driven by cognitive distortions leading to perceptions of underperformance regardless of contrary evidence. Combining findings from my MSc and wider research into the topic, this session looks at what impostor syndrome is and why it matters. It identifies triggers, coping strategies and how you can also help those around you to manage it more effectively.
Wellbeing
Psychological wellbeing encompasses a range of dimensions to help you and your team to thrive. This session unpacks the dimensions of positive relationships, engagement, relationships, meaning, accomplishment and health that all play a role in flourishing. Participants will spend time understanding more about each area then identify their personal focus areas and next steps.
Resilience
Resilience refers to our ability to cope with stress. We draw on our resilience to resist a stressor, rebound after it, or re-grow constructively in new ways. This session explores the concept further, understanding what it means for you and how to build and sustain resilience in personal and professional lives.
Effective teams
Effective teams work together collaboratively to maximise performance. In this session we explore the components of effective teams, their role in the wider organisation and how tangible and intangible elements help or hinder performance. We look at psychological safety and trust, how to take a strengths-based approach and value diversity of contribution, along with considering where the team is in its development and what proactive next steps could be.
Building a coaching environment
Coaching is based on the philosophy that individuals can find the answers to challenges themselves. This self-identification of next steps means individuals are more intrinsically motivated to implement the actions effectively. The role of the coach is to create a safe and confidential space for reflection and insight to happen, using active listening and appropriate challenge and observation to enable the coachee to develop their way forward. These coaching skills are beneficial for leaders and team members everywhere. This session provides an overview of coaching foundations for individuals to incorporate into their professional lives (and often personal ones too!). It encompasses an overview of coaching, listening styles, a framework for coaching conversations and experiential practice.
